A man contacted us who met Yeshua in a vision while he was in hospital.
He was 51 years old, a father for two, and his wife had died 12 years ago. Nine years ago, he came to faith during a really bad sickness.
It was a really severe flu. He told us it was really serious and had affected his lungs and his liver, so he was in hospital for long time. He said that the doctors gave him a lot of medicine and he was really sleepy. He remembered that during that time he saw a vision — he saw the Messiah, and he talked to Him. Yeshua told Him many things, and told him that everything is going to be alright.
“He didn’t tell me everything,” the man said, recalling his encounter with Yeshua, “but He told me that everything is going to be alright.”
Before that he was totally atheist, and didn’t believe in anything — he was lost, he was faithless, but after he saw Yeshua, everything changed for him.
He recovered from his illness and started to look into Christianity. He went to Jerusalem where he visited Catholic, orthodox, and traditional churches there, and he started to read the New Testament. He also watched movies about Jesus and about faith, and found that this brought him real peace.
He was seriously considering converting from Judaism to Christianity but felt that it would be wrong to lose his Jewish roots, so he didn’t do that in the end, but he still felt that Jesus is the right thing. He just went with his life just like that for many years.
Eventually he just said to himself, it can’t be that there aren’t more Jewish people like me that believe in Yeshua, so he started to search, and that’s when he found us. He found our Hebrew videos and materials on the internet.
He wrote to us, and we were able to connect him with a pastor of a Messianic congregation in his area. The following Saturday they met and he went to the congregation. Now he’s going every week.
“I talked to him afterwards and asked how he found the meeting,” one of our team reported. “He told me that it was the first time he’d been to a messianic congregation and he thought it was really good and that he’s planning to go next week too.”
“Last time we talked, he says that he’s going every week and even waiting with anticipation for these weekend meetings. The pastor told me that they already talking about his baptism, and was glad to give us an update.”
The pastor told us that he said, “I’ve found my place.”
