My story:
“I am 50 years old. I have been through many hardships in my life, and have been on a long learning process, searching for meaning along the way… It took me a long time until I arrived “home”!!
I came across Yeshua and his messages for the first time about 25 years ago following a long stay in England (where I was studying), but then I was not yet “home”… Over time, I was exposed to more content and more teaching from Yeshua, and I bought the New Testament from a Jordanian website. In the last year I visited In several archaeological sites [around Galilee] related to Yeshua and His ministry (Magdala, the Mount of Beatitudes, Capernaum, and the Jordan River) and I was exposed to the episodes of the series The Chosen… At the same time, I read the New Testament and felt like it was quoting famous rabbis…!!! I felt like I had come “home”!! No method or technique I learned along the way has been able to bring me such a feeling of being complete, safe, calm and trusting as I felt with Yeshua!!! Yeshua for me is the home and the way!! When I came to your website and content, you actually helped me understand that I too am actually a Messianic Jew!!”
What to know
- It might seem surprising but many Israelis know very little about Yeshua: who He was (is!) and His teachings.
- The New Testament cannot be easily bought in Israel: most bookshops won’t carry it. You can get all sorts of books on other religions and New Age mysticism, but not the New Testament. Now our popular NT application has made it easy for Israelis to read it for themselves.
- Evangelistic videos and materials online have been a lifeline to many who might not come across the truth any other way.
How to Pray
- Pray for many more to start searching for the New Testament — and reading it!
- Pray that God would guide many to the truth, and draw them to Himself.
- Pray for our team who are responding to all the messages we get from Israelis on their way to faith: for wisdom, guidance, inspiration, and love.
- Please pray for new believers like this person to get rooted and grounded in God’s love for them, and grow as disciples.
