My story:
“I read the New Testament and I must say that it was very exciting and even moving to read the words of Jesus and the apostles. I have a lot of questions but I’m researching little by little.
Certainly my faith was only strengthened by encountering the gospel. I would love to follow Jesus and be baptized… I would also love to hear about the Messianic Jewish community in Israel.”
What to know
- Most Jewish people have never read the New Testament, and many are pleasantly surprised when they do! It is a very Jewish book, about Jewish people living in Israel, and about the Jewish Messiah promised in the Hebrew Scriptures.
- We have sent out a large number of physical copies of the New Testament to those who have asked for one, and Bible apps which include the New Testament are also very popular in Israel.
- Somewhat surprisingly, our team has reported that over 75% of Israelis responding to the New Testament are men.
How to Pray
- Please pray for God to give more Israelis the courage to read the New Testament and discover the truth about Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah, and what He really taught.
- Pray for those who are excited about what they read in the New Testament and are starting to believe — that they would receive the encouragement and support they need.
- Pray for our team as they support seekers who are exploring the teachings of Yeshua, and questions of faith — for God’s wisdom and love.
