Trinity Broadcasting Network, TBN, is the largest Christian broadcaster in the world, and now ONE FOR ISRAEL has a regular spot! It broadcasts worldwide, and is particularly popular with evangelicals in America. It’s big in the Bible Belt, and has a multi-ethnic audience, so we’re hoping to engage with many more who we might not otherwise reach.
Through these TBN programs we will share our teaching about Israel and give an Israeli perspective on the Bible, but we also want to introduce people to ONE FOR ISRAEL, who may not have been aware of our ministry before — especially younger people in the West.
“Even if they’re Christian conservatives, evangelicals don’t necessarily have Israel on their radar anymore. We used to take it for granted that Christians were largely supportive of Israel and were on board with God’s plan for Israel, but now the ubiquity of Replacement Theology and even conspiracy theories have led to a lot of antisemitism in the church because of all the misinformation,” said Matthew, one of the writers of the series. “We want people to see God’s heart for Israel and His plan that all Israel will be saved.”
Ambassador Mike Huckabee used to have his own program on the network but when he left the US and took his new job in Jerusalem he left a gap in TBN’s Israel-related content. There are a few other Jewish voices on TBN such as Jonathan Bernis, Rabbi Jason Sobel, and Yair Pinto, and now ONE FOR ISRAEL also has the opportunity to bring Bible teaching focused on the centrality of the Gospel to a wider audience.

And that’s not all! “Why Israel?” is just the first series we’re doing on TBN.
The first 8 episodes, starting in November, will lay the groundwork about why God chose this nation, this people, in order to bless every nation on earth… and what’s coming in the future. They will explain the covenant God has with Israel, and why Israel is important in the story of salvation for the whole world.
Then in December we are excited to share some teaching about Hanukkah and Christmas, and later in the Spring, we’ll start the next series which will be on the book of Nehemiah.
“We’ve got a 10 week series on Nehemiah that we’ve already started filming. The narrative ties in beautifully to what we’re doing here, and what God has been doing in Israel over the past 100 years,” said Matthew.
New episodes will be released each Saturday at 8:30pm CST and repeated on Tuesdays at the same time.
