My story:
“I come from a traditional secular background, although I also have kippa-wearing [more religious] sides in our family. I personally lived most of my life as a completely secular person and didn’t give much space or thought to God in my life.
In the last year, after a certain experience I went through, matters of God and faith in him began to occupy me a lot. My partner, who believes and comes from a Messianic Jewish home, brought me two books: “Why Me?” and “Crazy Love” and we also read passages from the New Testament and the Bible together.
Since I started reading and became exposed to this world, I feel like a blindfold that prevented me from seeing all my life is slowly coming off.
This process is a bit difficult and very intense for me, and a lot of questions have come up, and my partner recommended contacting you for help. I don’t really know where to start… but I would love to talk to someone.”
What to know
- Over the years our ministry has grown and we are more well-known in Israel – we are often recognized from our videos, opening many opportunities to share about our faith. This is a blessing as now many more people know who to turn to with questions about Yeshua.
- We now have 783,000 subscribers to our Hebrew language YouTube channel. Many Israelis binge watch our Hebrew videos, going from one to another, or watching them repeatedly.
- Jewish people often take many years on their journey to faith. There are many cultural hurdles to overcome.
How to Pray
- Pray for seekers like this person – that they would get God’s customized help and support, and the answers they need.
- Pray for our team who are overwhelmed with responses to the gospel. Pray as we team up with other ministries who can help: for good coordination so that seekers are well supported with honor and love.
- Please pray wisdom for all those who are in partnership with non-believers, for wisdom and guidance for God as they walk alongside them, and for their partners to be saved.
