“Then they secretly induced men to say, ‘We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and against God.' … And fixing their gaze on him, all who were sitting in the Council saw his face like the face of an angel” (Acts 6:11, 15).

Stephen is accused of speaking blasphemous words about Moses. Nothing could be farther from the truth! Remarkably, 95% of all the verses Stephen cites in his sermon to the Sanhedrin come from the Torah (Acts 7:1-44)! Stephen is preaching Jesus from Torah, and all the while his face is shining like Moses too! Dear God, let us learn to read and preach the Torah like Stephen!
