“You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye” (Matt 7:5).

The other day it occurred to me that hell will be filled with people who will be eternally angry at God, their spouses, their bosses, their co-workers, and everyone else on the planet whose fault it was for all their problems on earth. Until we are willing to take personal responsibility for our own problems, anger will constantly be our lot in life; and for those who have never believed the gospel, anger will be their eternal inheritance.

“Therefore you have no excuse, everyone of you who passes judgment, for in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things” (Rom 2:1).

Until we are willing to take personal responsibility for our own problems, anger will constantly be our lot in life
