Israel carried out a surprise attack in Iran’s military and nuclear facilities in the middle of the night. The sirens wailed across Israel at 3am, waking everyone up and alerting the population that they need to be ready to get into a bomb shelter at a moment’s notice. Retaliation was on the way.
Eliminating the Iranian nuclear threat
It’s an irony that Iran poses such a great threat to Israel’s very existence, given the fact that the majority of Iranians actually support the Jewish state. There is a vast gulf between the Iranian regime and the people it has been mercilessly controlling since the Islamic revolution in 1978.
“Iranians are the ones who support Israel the most I receive more messages of support from Iranians than from all other Muslim countries combined,” said popular Israeli YouTuber, Oren Cahanovitc.
Iranians, it seems, understand all too well the evils of the jihadist threat that Israel has to deal with.
Indeed, Israel has no wish to harm a single Iranian civilian. The operation, codenamed “Operation Rising Lion”, focuses on specific Iranian military targets and elements related to their nuclear weapon endeavor. Rather than targeting the Iranian people, the IDF is focused on eliminating the radical forces that threatens Israel’s security, and taking every feasible measure in order to minimize the harm to the uninvolved civilians. You can see how carefully the strikes are carried out by seeing what is left of the home of the head of the IRGC below.
This is how precise Israel’s intelligence and execution is: pinpointed attack eliminating head of IRGC directly in his apartment, nearly 2,000 kilometers away from Israel. pic.twitter.com/M8rmx8ddeM

Why now?
President Trump gave Iran 60 days to make a deal back in April, and today is day 61. As he wrote on his platform, Truth Social,
“Two months ago I gave Iran a 60-day ultimatum to ‘make a deal.’ They should have done it! Today is day 61. I told them what to do, but they just couldn’t get there. Now they have, perhaps, a second chance!”
Having bought time by pretending to negotiate a deal, Iran has now accumulated large amounts of highly enriched uranium that are sufficient for more than 9 nuclear bombs, a third of which was enriched and accumulated in the last three months alone which is a drastic increase. Such an accelerated effort has not been seen in the last two decades, and as IAEA reports prove, the Iranian nuclear program is not intended for peaceful purposes.
The radical regime in Iran has publicly vowed to bring about the destruction of Israel, and has been determined to reach that goal. Iranian friends were raised to shout every morning in school, “Death to Israel! Death to America!” Now with the capacity to build several atomic bombs, Israel wasn’t going to take any chances.
The regime is the number one sponsor of terrorism in the world, and has bankrolled the wicked activities of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis for many years, equipping and training the terror groups in a coordinated effort to wipe Israel off the map. However, now that those proxies have been significantly weakened during this terrible war precipitated by Hamas on Oct. 7 2023, and with the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, Israel now has the chance to take out the nuclear threat with only limited retaliation to deal with.
For now we are grateful to say that the Israeli strikes so far have been successful and the missiles sent in retaliation have been intercepted over Syria and Jordan with the help of other countries including Jordan, the US, the UK and Saudi Arabia. We long to see the Iranian regime come down and the people of Iran to be finally free.
As the situation unfolds, please join in prayer:
- Pray for protection over Israeli civilians and soldiers
- Pray for wisdom for our leaders as they make difficult decisions under pressure
- Pray for the Iranian regime to come to an end, and for freedom for the people of Iran — for peace between our two countries
- Pray for strength for our ministry teams in the coming days
- Pray for comfort and peace for those grieving, and for open hearts in this shaking, that many would seek the hope only found in Yeshua
We know God is faithful.
“Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep” (Psalm 121:4).
Thank you for standing with us—for praying, for supporting, and for being part of what God is doing in Israel, even during the darkest hours.
