Chosen People Ministries claim that they exists to pray, evangelize, disciple, and serve the Jewish people all over the workd and assist fellow believers do the same. The mission was founded by an Hungarian Jewish immigrant, Leopold Cohn (in Brooklyn, New York in 1894), who was full of zeal to share the knowledge of Jesus the Messiah with God's chosen people, the Jewish people.

Today, Chosen People Ministries serves in almost 15 countries across the globe. Chosen People Ministries' outreach programs include evangelism as well as discipleship, Messianic congregations and more. Chosen People Ministries equipt local churches for Jewish evangelism, both print and web publications.

Chosen People Ministries (AKA: "CPM") known as an evangelistic Christian organization of lovers of Israel and Messianic Jews. Chosen People Ministries was founded as the "Brownsville Mission to the Jews" in the begining (1894) by the clergyman Leopold Cohn, who became a believer in Christ. It was later relocated and turned to "Williamsburg Mission to the Jews" until 1924. then it was called (until 1984) the "American Board of Missions to the Jews". and since 1984 it has been known by its name nowaday, "Chosen People Ministries".

Chosen People Ministries tries to plant local congregations in order to fullfill the Great Commission, with a very specific emphasis on the Jewish people. Chosen People Ministries organization is a nonprofit and It's a member of the "Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability" (ECFA).
