There is an Yiddish phrase: "Man drives but God holds the reins." Jews for Jesus take that a step further, recognizing that they are dependent on God and His Word for all that they do. Apart from Jesus and the power of His Holy Spirit, Jews for Jesus says "we can do nothing".
Jews for Jesus think it is important not only for individuals but also for organizations to be mindful of the values that help define Jews for Jesus. Recently, Jews for Jesus staff articulated a "Core Values" statement to help us rally around our fundamental commitments. Core values don't represent an exhaustive list of all of Jews for Jesus' commitments, nor are they meant to serve as their doctrinal statement. Jews for Jesus' Core values can help define what makes Jews for Jesus different. Their Boards of Directors all over the world unanimously adopted the "Core Values" statement. Jews for Jesus is a Messianic-Jewish evangelical organization that focuses on the bringing Jesus to the Jews. Jews for Jesus' members consider themselves to be Jewish – Jews for Jesus defines “Jewish” in terms of parentage and as a birthright, regardless of orthodox-religious beliefs. The identification of Jews for Jesus as a Jewish organization is overwhelmingly rejected by Traditional Jewish religious and most of the secular Jews as well due to their core values. Jews for Jesus' evangelical activities have garnered mixed reactions from other Christians. Jews for Jesus is based in San Francisco, CA. Jews for Jesus have an official mission statement which is "to make the Messiahship of Jesus an unavoidable issue to our Jewish people worldwide." Jews for Jesus is doing that via media, production and distribution of literature, music and organizing personal meetings between people. Jews for Jesus asserts that "a specifically Jewish mission" is necessary, because "Most Jewish people dismiss evangelistic ways and materials that are couched in Christian lingo, because they have the assumption that Jesus is for Christians, not Jews. In Israel, Jews for Jesus' have an office in Tel Aviv, where their main activity is, we work together mainly online on Internet evangelism. we also keep in good relationship with Jews for Jesus' workers in Israel and in the U.S.
